There are a number of shopping cart applications which are offered by ecommerce software providers which really add value to a store. Some software providers provide them for free while others offer them as a paid app.
There are 3 that we really like – Deal Of The Day/Daily Deals, Make Me An Offer, Too Low To Advertise, Self Pickup/Store Pickup and Group Deals/Group Buy. These applications appeal to a host of buyer groups and therefore have the potential to increase sales if used properly.
Volusion, BigCommerce, InstanteStore, Shopify and 3DCart all offer at least one of these features either in free or paid form.
