The Apple Watch 2 didn’t appear at WWDC, but that doesn’t mean we won’t see it in 2016. In fact, right now the best guess for a launch date is alongside the iPhone 7 in September and that theory has just been strengthened by supply chain sources.
Speaking to Digitimes, the sources claimed that the Apple Watch 2 is expected to appear later in 2016, and that “shipments of chips and components for the second-generation Apple Watch are set to begin in the third quarter.”
