Visa teams with SAP’s Taulia on embedded payments

Through its partnership with Taulia, Visa aims to provide businesses with an improved payment experience for buyers and suppliers, the card network said. Taulia processes about $500 billion annually and has major firms such as Nissan, Airbus and AstraZeneca in its roster of clients, according Visa’s release.

“By partnering with SAP/Taulia, we create synergies in working capital management and the enablement of a world class (enterprise resource planning) provider,” Visa Senior Vice President Alan Koenigsberg, said in the statement. “We believe that we are creating a best-in-class payments automation experience for buyers and suppliers alike, while removing cumbersome processes that take time away from the most strategic work that drives growth.” Koenigsberg is global head of large and middle market segments as well as working capital solutions at Visa.
